One of the districts impacted was District 25, which longtime Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz currently represents.  That district will be far more GOP-friendly under the new map, so Wasserman Schultz had a decision to make.

On Friday, she announced it, and it has infuriated black Democrats in the state.

Speculation had been brewing for weeks that Wasserman Schultz would switch districts and run for the open seat in District 20, which was previously held by the disgraced former Representative Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D).

However, District 20 is a majority-minority district, and several black Democratic candidates who have already declared their intentions to run for the seat have openly advised the former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee to steer clear of it.

Welp, she ignored them and on Friday, she made sure to have a picture of Obama in the background when she announced she was running:
