Or at least genuinely excited about my bank account’s future. The prenup conversation came up a month before the wedding. Ryan brought it up, which surprised me.

I had more assets than he did, so a prenup seemed smart. Ryan’s lawyer drew up the documents, and I signed them after what I thought was careful review. My own lawyer looked them over and said they seemed standard.
