Recently, Gianni Infantino said he discussed Iran’s participation with Donald Trump, who reportedly confirmed that the Iranian team would be welcome to compete in the tournament.

However, Iran’s sports minister Ahmad Donyamali suggested the country may boycott the event due to the ongoing conflict.
