In Indiana, voters revolted after establishment Republicans refused to fight aggressively in the redistricting war. GOP voters cleaned house and sent a message to every spineless lawmaker hiding behind procedural excuses while Democrats weaponize power everywhere else in the country.

In Louisiana, Sen. Bill Cassidy finally paid the political price for siding against Trump during impeachment and constantly undermining the conservative movement. After Trump endorsed Rep. Julia Letlow, Cassidy became a symbol of what happens to Republicans who think they can survive while spitting in the face of the party base.
