Had there been another Dem primary, Harris would have lost because she was the first Dem to drop out in 2019 when she couldn’t even win her home state of California. Ouch.

When Biden asked if he could make the endorsement the next day or take some time to consider the decision, she allegedly pressed him to decide within 20 minutes. That prompted a frustrated Jill Biden to leave the room:
