Secret Service Arrests Man At Trump Doral Golf Club

A man was arrested Saturday at President Donald Trump’s Doral golf resort in Florida after refusing to comply with Secret Service agents at a security checkpoint.

The incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. at a screening station staffed by federal agents and local officers. Michael Townsend, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Secret Service’s Miami field office, said the suspect became disruptive during the encounter.

What Happened

“During the encounter, the individual became disruptive and failed to comply with lawful orders,” Townsend said. “He then made physical contact with a member of the Secret Service and was taken into custody without further incident.”
